We are operating a 1-metre zone. To ensure physical distancing, we have fewer tables in the restaurant. To avoid disappointment, you may have to book further in advance than normal.
When booking, you will be required to provide contact details as normal, though our Privacy Policy has been updated to reflect the new use of your data in line with aiding the government and NHS for Test & Protect purposes. Every customer is now required to provide their name and contact details on arrival (not just the lead contact in the party). We are not using the App and QR code, instead we will provide a form to complete when you get seated.
Please note, in line with current restrictions, we can currently accept reservations for up to 8 people from 3 households.
You will also be asked to provide any dietary requirements in advance, including any vegetarians or vegans, and we recommend pre-ordering lobster and shellfish platters to avoid disappointment.
Our full menu is available and we’re still serving up delicious fresh food & all your favourites!
We've brought back our physical printed menus this year, but with strict systems in place to ensure they are fully sanitised after each use before going back into circulation. The blackboard will also have lots of additional options, though we ask that you take a photo on your phone on the way in to avoid people gathering or moving around the restaurant unnecessarily.
Please be aware that due to the pandemic and Brexit, there are some nationwide distribution problems. This may occasionally result in some products being temporarily unavailable if we are unable to source them from our suppliers.
We’ve altered our bookings system to ensure our customers arrive at the premises as staggered as possible. However, you may still be arriving at the same time as another party and so ask that you observe and adhere to the instructions.
You will be entering a 1 metre zone, but please maintain a 2 metre distance from other diners wherever possible, and wait in line before entering the restaurant. Unless exempt, please wear a face covering when you come in - until you are seated and settled - and any time you move around the restaurant. This is a statutory government requirement.
Once inside, please use the hand sanitiser provided and one of our team will greet you and show you to your table. If we are busy, just hold tight - we will be with you very soon.
We ask that you remain seated and do not approach the bar for service or payment.
We’ve arranged the restaurant and measured our tables to ensure social distancing is maintained between diners (at least 1 metre apart).
However, it’s not practical or feasible for our team to provide the usual standard of service at this distance, so you can expect your waitress to come closer but maintain distancing whenever possible. Rest assured that our staff are taking all the necessary precautions and you are in safe hands. We use hand sanitiser frequently in between hand-washing, and will maintain as much distance as possible, whenever possible. Unless exempt, staff will be wearing face coverings. Please be aware that you may be required to pass plates and drinks to avoid our close proximity to you.
Everything at your table will either be disposable, for single use only, or be sanitised after each use. That includes condiments, so these will be provided on request.
When ya gotta go, ya gotta go! But please maintain a safe distance from other diners when you move around the premises, and if you can, hold back if there are customers at the door waiting to be seated. To minimise risk, only one cubicle is in use in both the ladies and gents and our staff are regularly cleaning throughout service.
Please wear your face covering when up and about and always use the hand sanitiser provided on entry and exit of the facilities. We recommend using a paper towel to open the door on your way out and have provided a bin by the sanitiser too.
When it’s time to say cheerio, as much as we’ve missed you and as good as that bottle of wine was...remember it’s still nae cuddlin’!
Please put on your face covering again and maintain a safe distance. Where possible, avoid leaving when there is already a queue at the door.
We’ll keep this page up to date as much as possible as circumstances change and progress, but we’d recommend subscribing to our mailing list to receive announcements straight to your inbox.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
